Bringing your decor loves outdoors

Beginning with raw materials

(old pallet boards)

my hubby created my shabby shed,

and warmed this girls heart through and through.

 

 

Faded it is..

feminine it is...

and cherished it is...

created with his hands

and a labour of love for me.

 

 

He found this old chippy door for me

and this vintage doorknob

and although I had it tucked away,

I knew it would be perfect with this door.

 

 

I designed a daybed from wood

and he put his hands to the wood

and created it for me.

I sat a crib mattress in it,

and sewed shabby chic cushion covers

from thrift shop vintage sheets for my euro shams,

and surrounded it with a sheer canopy.

All items we already had,

and a few more gleaned from garage sales

and vintage thrift shops.

Décor extends to the outdoors too right?
